Drawing parallels to talk ‘Differences’
At Engineering college, homework was inevitable.
They called it an assignment, to make it sound mature.
Ours was a class of fifty young minds, and
Everyone treated the same assignment differently.
Some did it seamlessly, while some did it carelessly.
Some made it look neat and fancy, some preferred to keep it messy.
Some were quick, while some were slow.
Some worked honestly, and some copied.
Some worked hard to be exceptional, while
Some had to try hard to even understand it.
Same assignment but different approaches
Same assignment, but different perspectives
Same assignment, but different outcomes
Same assignment, but different people.
But unlike an assignment, life is different for everyone.
Some live it seamlessly, while some live it carelessly.
Some make it look neat and fancy, some prefer to keep it messy.
Some are quick, while some prefer to take things slowly.
Some strive to live an exceptional life,
and some just want to survive.
Different lives, hence different approaches.
Different lives, hence different perspectives.
Different lives, hence different outcomes.
Different lives, hence different people.
Differences. Cherish them.
